About Us

Welcome to Ponsaramic and thanks for coming to look or/and purchase from our stunning collection of photos from around the world. Every picture you see on this site tells a story of where it was taken. Many of the photos are unique in the fact that they were taken in places no one else sees. All our photos are available to buy in A2 or A3 with the option of having a frame.

The Frames have been designed to enhance the colour of the picture. All pictures once printed will come with a white border. This is to ensure that the picture is not damaged during the framing process.

Let me introduce myself, my name Mark Pons and I am the Owner and founder of Ponsaramic. I firmly believe that photography is about what one sees. In life we all see things in different ways.

I only started taking photos when I was 24 (2006) and travelled to China to teach English. I became really interested in the architecture there, the ancient buildings and the sweeping rooves. I used a very basic Olympus camera and have been taking photos ever since.

In 2015 I moved to Spain to work for a property agent and this is when I started doing professional photography. I did a course at The London School of Photography and achieved Levels 1 & 2 in the field and was also learning from a professional tutor in Spain. I learnt editing techniques on Lightroom CC (Photoshop) by using you tube tutorials.

I finally got my own camera in April 2015 as an early birthday Present.  My Choice of camera is still a Pentax K-50 as it gives me high quality photos with great results and is pretty simple to use.

I started Ponsaramic in May 2016 after a holiday in Japan. In September of the same year I left my job in Spain, returning to UK and have been working on this on a part-time basis ever since.

Thanks again, I really hope you enjoy this site. If you have any question or queries please do not hesitate to contact me via the contact page. Please don’t forget to follow us here and on facebook, Instagram and Pinterest @Ponsaramic and add me on Linkedin @Mark Pons.
